Perched on a steep Kirkland hillside, this award-winning outdoor living project transformed an extremely challenging backyard into a breathtaking multi-level retreat designed for year-round Northwest living.
What began as a small, aging deck evolved into a 1,600-square-foot outdoor environment featuring premium TimberTech decking, frameless glass railings, integrated lighting, a luxury swim spa, outdoor kitchen, and custom comfort features woven throughout the space.
This was not a simple backyard remodel. With virtually no equipment access to the property, much of the structural foundation and retaining wall work had to be completed by hand — requiring extensive planning, engineering, craftsmanship, and problem-solving at every stage of the build.
