Your project has come to an end, and you may notice a pile of leftover material still sitting in the driveway. Naturally, you might think those materials belong to you and wonder if you’ll receive a refund for them.
Here’s how it works:
As a company, we order 10–15% extra material for every job site. This isn’t to overcharge—it’s to ensure that the crew has everything needed to complete your project without unnecessary delays. Materials can arrive damaged, in the wrong size, scuffed, or dirty. By having extras on hand, we can immediately select the best products for your home and return what isn’t up to standard. This helps us avoid costly downtime, like stopping at a gas station or supply house during the project.
Now, regarding refunds: we operate under a fixed contract, not a “cost-plus” model. That means when we quote you a price, that’s the price you pay—no more, no less. If material costs increase after you’ve signed your contract (and they often do over time), we do not raise your price. You’re protected from market fluctuations.
Because of this fixed-price structure, you won’t receive a refund for unused materials. The extra material is part of what ensures quality and efficiency in completing your project.
