The Build:
For this beautiful home near Tiger Mountain in Issaquah, WA, we constructed a permitted insulated aluminum patio cover that blends durability with elegant design—perfect for the Pacific Northwest’s rainy climate.
Our team installed a Reverse Skillion roof with a subtle ¼” x 12″ pitch, ideal for effective drainage while maintaining a sleek, modern profile. Thanks to the roof-mounted design, we avoided tearing into the existing roofline, preserving the home’s structure and speeding up the build process. This method minimizes disruption and is ideal for homeowners looking for a fast, clean patio cover upgrade.
The cover includes:
6″ eave overhang on the larger section and approximately 9″ on the right side
1′ front overhang for extended rain protection
2″x6″ posts wrapped in Sienna wood lattice for a warm, natural finish
3×8 lattice wrap beam adding charm and structure
6 recessed LED lights seamlessly integrated for evening ambiance and functionality
This aluminum roof system is insulated, helping to regulate temperature beneath the cover, which is particularly valuable in Issaquah’s cool, wet winters and mild summers. Whether you’re enjoying morning coffee during a drizzle or entertaining friends under the stars, this patio cover offers year-round comfort and protection.
The materials were prepped onsite, and the efficient build process highlights why insulated aluminum covers are a top choice—they’re quicker to install, require minimal maintenance, and are built to last.
The Result:
The Finished Space – Designed for Year-Round Enjoyment
Once construction wrapped up, this Issaquah patio cover project revealed its full potential—a perfect balance of utility, style, and comfort. Nestled at the base of Tiger Mountain, this outdoor living space was built with the Pacific Northwest lifestyle in mind: durable enough for wet winters, inviting enough for sunny days.

Whether it’s a summer BBQ or a cozy fall evening, this space is ready to host it all.
The reengineered deck stairs enhance functionality and flow, while the Sienna wood lattice wrap beams bring warmth and texture to the modern frame. These custom touches elevate the aesthetic and tie the entire structure into the natural surroundings.
From the seamless overhangs to the clean, integrated electrical work, every detail was considered. The result is a space that not only looks stunning but performs beautifully in Issaquah’s ever-changing weather.
Now, the homeowners can fully embrace outdoor living—rain or shine. Whether enjoying morning coffee as mist settles over the hills or dining al fresco under the soft glow of the recessed lights, this patio cover turns an ordinary deck into a four-season retreat.
